Job Description
We are looking to hire a Head Chef for our client. The ideal candidate should be an even-tempered leader who will organise the kitchen’s activities, be the first in command in the facilities, and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of culinary education and training.
- Proven experience working as a Head Chef.
- Proven ability in kitchen management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress.
- Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
- Proficient knowledge of human resources management.
- Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes.
- Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
Salary
N100,000 – N130,000 monthly
