Flinders University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for its Destination Australia Scholarship. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students.
About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia.
Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.
Flinders is a verdant university and a member of the Innovative Research Universities (IRU) Group and ranks in the 10-16 bracket in Australia and 36th in the world among those established less than 50 years.
Aim and Benefits of Destination Australia Scholarship
There will be 12 scholarships available to domestic students and 2 for international students. Scholarships will be valued at $15,000 per annum for the duration of the recipient’s program, up to a maximum of three years.
Payment will be made in two instalments per annum after the census date of each semester.
Requirements for Destination Australia Scholarship
An applicant must:
1. Be commencing a bachelor’s degree at the Riverland campus of Flinders University; and
2. Maintain ongoing residency in a regional area as defined by the 2016 Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure from the Australian Bureau of Statistics; and
3. Be enrolled full-time.
4. International recipients are also required to maintain a Student Visa for the duration of the scholarship.
