We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Key Account Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

As Key Account Manager, you will have the end-to-end responsibility of the customer experience and growth of the key vendors assigned to you.

Your role is to bring in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, and manage key vendors in our marketplace.

Constant interface with the Commercial operations, Vendor experience & Marketing team.

Responsibilities

Ensure continuous growth of our existing business by owning pricing and promotions strategy, working with marketing teams to improve product content and visibility; and managing stock availability by coordinating teams across the business to bring the product to the customer.

Complete Sales performance of the 3c’s Categories, vendors, merchant management and monitoring of sales strategies with a view to increasing the Business unit’s Net Margin Position (NMP) & Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).

Support product and content creation process to increase assortment live.

Plan and maintain constant stock availability.

Trend Spotting: Should be able to identify broader trends and fill category gaps

Build weekly marketing plan, contribute determining which products/subcategories will be promoted on website and through all marketing channels (Newsletters, Facebook, etc).

Work closely with the vendor management team to identify vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure best quality and costs.

Partner with Jumia Services to improve product availability, reduce costs, and minimize our working capital investment. Work together with system teams to identify main opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.

Customer acquisition through Value Offering, Sales Campaign Management, etc.

Create and present strategic insights for the Business unit to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization.

Analyze & Present post – promotion analysis for retail and Marketplace, quantifying impact to brand and category.

Define and optimize curation/assortment selection strategy for your portfolio ensuring relevance of selection/styling to optimize revenues and sales velocity.

Influence large number stakeholders across the business; work closely with the team members and other business groups to deliver results and be comfortable in presenting projects and results to senior leadership on a regular basis.

Develop strong analytics to evaluate daily/weekly/monthly performance and optimize further marketing, pricing, and product selection

Develop and manage subcategories under Jumia. Maintain the P&L and develop annual and quarterly category strategic plans by conducting financial analysis of the business.

Manage the entire physical product lifecycle, from strategic activities to tactical implementation, including product portfolio idea generation

Job Title: Senior Account Manager (Zonal Manager)

Locations: Lagos, Ibadan – Oyo & Port Harcourt – Rivers
Job Type: Full-time

Job Objectives

The senior account manager (zonal manager) will lead the strategy and project manage all initiatives and pilots related to last mile delivery.

Have either individually or as part of a team, created or improved ways of leveraging the company’s existing or potential assets to fulfill goods to consumers.

Responsibilities

Managing the talent pool of Jumia Services and building a strong leadership team in Delivery

Actively design and steer CXP and VXP excellence projects along with Local and Central operations leaders

Design and own end to end the Last mile unit costs strategy to meet both our requirements of CXP/VXP and unit economics targets

Actively feed and contribute to the system roadmap design to deliver the required instruments for this logistics success

Manage and improve fleet management practices, team and cost of operation Create a culture of best-in-class material handling in Last mile

Lead key transformations in supply chain (or in partnership), allowing our last mile hubs to receive product faster and more often without increasing costs of delivery

Ability to work cross functionally with key fulfillment partners such as Logistics, supply chain and other partners, such as IT.

Leading the scale up and expansion of last mile footprint (3PL expansion, pick up station expansion, Delivery Associates hiring and expansion).

Own and create the 3PL community management for Jumia

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university; Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain

Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.

Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.

Relevant Experience:

5 years minimum experience, logistics operations

Experience in strategy and complex network management

Good Knowledge of the Logistical Operations in the local market is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

Process oriented, well-organized with a high level of attention to detail

Excellent team management skills

Dynamic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Data oriented with strong analytical and conceptual skills

Communicate effectively with counterparts in Logistics Department
