SSC MTS Exam 2026: 43 Attendance On Day One Of MTS-21 Tier-I Exam

The Staff Selection Commission’s (SSC) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)-2026 Tier-I online examination began on Tuesday. The examination is being conducted in 17 cities of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar from the SSC Central Zone Headquarters located in Prayagraj. Central Zone Regional Director Rahul Sachan said that out of 83021 candidates registered in both states, 35803 (43.13 percent) appeared for the first day’s examination.

In Central Zone 13,28,537 candidates are registered for the proposed examination till 26th July. The examination is being conducted in three shifts from 9 am to 10:30 am, one to 2:30 and 5 to 6:30 at 89 centers in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. 37,94,607 candidates are registered across the country. It is clear that more than one-third of the candidates are appearing in the examination only from the central region.
