- OND, HND or Secondary School Certificate with a license from the Optometrist & Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria
- 2 years of experience, from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired, is necessary.
Skills Required:
- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- An eye for detail, colour co-ordination and style is imperative to help people make the right choice about something that may become a near-permanent fixture on their face (spectacles).
