1.) Registrar
Location: Bauchi
- Candidates should possess at least second class Degree (Lower Division) in Arts / Humanity or Social Sciences with a minimum of 15 years post qualification cognate experience in a University and must have served for at least three (3) years as Deputy Registrar.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with relevant Management Packages is required.
- Possession of relevant higher degrees or postgraduate professional qualifications in the appropriate fields is an added advantage.
- The candidate should not be older than 60 years by 24th June, 2022 and must be of good health and have a good understanding of vision and mission of the University.
- He/she shall have the ability to provide good leadership, possess personal integrity and demonstrate transparency in private and public life and be able to command respect and loyalty of staff.
- The remuneration and other conditions of service are as obtainable in the Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined from time to time by the University Governing Council.
- The successful candidate shall hold the post of Registrar for a single term of 5 years.

2.) University Librarian
Location: Bauchi
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D in Library Science / Library and Information Science with at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience in University librarianship, out of which five (5) must be as a Deputy University Librarian in a recognized University.
- The candidate must possess NYSC Discharge certificate or Exemption certificate or certificate of exclusion where applicable.
- The candidate should also have an evidence of registration with the Library Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) and he/she must not be more than 65 years of age at the time of assumption of duty.
- Candidates should show evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and ability to initiate, undertake and supervise research, as well as considerable professional and administrative experience to run the library of a University of Science and Technology.
- In addition, the applicant must possess skills in managing small and large libraries particularly, in areas of library oriented softwares and systems (SURPASS, Lucidea Integrated Library Systems, Koha ILS, L4U, OPALS, Destiny Library Manager, Handy Library Manager, Insignia Library System, Access-It Library, MODERNLIB, Atriuum, LIBRARIAN, Readerware, etc).
- The appointment is for a single term of five (5) years.
- Salaries and other conditions of service shall be as provided for University Librarians of Federal Universities by the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Governing Council of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
