Flinders University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their Cheryl Ann Keatley Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.
About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.
Flinders is a verdant university and a member of the Innovative Research Universities (IRU) Group and ranks in the 10-16 bracket in Australia and 36th in the world of those established less than 50 years.
Aim and Benefits of Cheryl Ann Keatley Scholarship
Subject to the availability of funds, there will be one scholarship valued at $1,000.
Requirements for Cheryl Ann Keatley Scholarship
Applicants must:
1. Be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia; and
2. Have applied for admission to, or be enrolled in, the Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care (Aged Care) or the Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Aged Care) or the Master of Nursing (Aged Care) offered by Flinders University; and
2. Be able to demonstrate financial hardship; and
3. Be able to demonstrate active involvement in the delivery of care to the older person.
Selection Process
Selection will be made by the representatives of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences in conjunction with Student Finance Services.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and demonstrated active involvement in the delivery of care to the older person.
