FAQs

1. Why was I offered admission into a different course at UNIDEL?

UNIDEL may offer admission into another course if a candidate does not fully meet the cut-off mark or specific subject requirements for the initially chosen programme but is qualified for a related course with available slots.

2. Can I accept the new course offered by UNIDEL?

Yes. Candidates who are offered admission into another course are advised to accept the offer if they are interested. Acceptance is usually done through the UNIDEL admission portal and, where applicable, on the JAMB CAPS.

3. What happens if I do not accept the course change?

If a candidate fails to accept the new course within the stipulated period, the admission offer may be withdrawn, and the candidate risks losing admission for that academic session.

4. Is it possible to change back to my original course later?

In most cases, candidates may apply for a change of course after gaining admission, subject to university regulations, availability of space, and meeting the required academic standards. Such requests are not automatic and must be formally approved by the university.
