Candidates who registered for the 2026 JAMB UTME Examinations and chose to participate in the OPTIONAL MOCK Examination are hereby informed that the examination schedule has been announced
The Board has disclosed that the mock examination will be conducted in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and familiarize INTERESTED Candidates with the CBT environment.
2026 JAMB MOCK examinations are for candidates who indicated interest in the exam during the normal UTME registration period.
The JAMB UTME Mock Registration is expected to begin on the portal for UTME/DE Registration, which is open from 19th February, 2026 to Thursday, 31st March, 2026.
The MOCK examination shall commence on Saturday, 9th April, 2026.

Candidates are to start printing of their MOCK Examination Notification Slips as from ONE WEEK TO THE ACTUAL MOCK EXAM DATE.
Non-JAMB CBT Centres are allowed to collect, through their bank accounts, a separate Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only, for mock exercise from only interested candidate(s) after notification of centre has been received by the candidate(s). The payment for mock examination by the candidate shall be made to the centre to which the candidate is assigned after the notification of assigned centres for the mock examination
No Association or body is permitted to run any mock examination on behalf of JAMB.
Candidates posted to JAMB Offices Nationwide for the Mock Examination will be exempted from paying the MOCK Fee but will be free of Charge for the Examination.

ABOUT JAMB UTME MOCK EXAMINATION
The Board introduced the Mock examination (optional) in 2017 to provide candidates with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the conduct of a computerized test, fine-tune the Board’s examination processes, and test the facilities at the CBT centres before the main examination for a hitch-free examination.
The Mock examination is also an opportunity for the candidates, particularly those coming in contact with computers for the first time, to eliminate any phobia.
During the registration exercise, candidates who express interest are given the opportunity to take the optional mock examination before the main examination.
This year’s exercise is the third in the series of Mock examinations conducted by the Board. In the meantime, all arrangements have been concluded for the conduct of the Mock Examination and the 2026 UTME.
