Indira Gandhi National Open University has launched a graduation-level program in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises for the youth of the country on the eve of World MSME Day, 2026.
The School of Vocational Education and Training in IGNOU has taken the initiative for admission from July 2026 session. 12th-passed students will be able to apply for the BA Micro Small and Medium Enterprises program.
The program will meet the current needs of a young entrepreneur and help him develop his knowledge and skills to set up a business venture. This program will help in increasing employment opportunities among the youth in India.
This course will help in developing the knowledge to identify business opportunities, market studies, innovation, and implementation. This includes new project planning, designing, exploration of investment opportunities, development and maintenance of business, marketing and social networking, taxation and licensing, etc.
This course is of three years’ duration, but it can be completed in 6 years. Its fee is Rs 5100. Although it is currently in English medium.
