FAQs

Why did FUTMINNA reduce the cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 admission session?

FUTMINNA reduced the cut-off mark to give more candidates the opportunity to participate in the admission process. This decision was influenced by national admission guidelines, candidate performance in the UTME, and the university’s aim to increase access while still maintaining academic standards.

What is the new cut-off mark for FUTMINNA 2026/2027 admissions?

The new minimum cut-off mark is set by the university (example: 150 or 160, depending on the programme). Candidates must meet or exceed the departmental cut-off to be eligible for screening. Applicants are advised to check the official FUTMINNA admission portal for programme-specific requirements.

How long has FUTMINNA extended the Post-UTME application deadline?

FUTMINNA has extended the Post-UTME registration deadline by a new date announced by the school. This extension allows applicants who were unable to register earlier to complete their application and upload all required documents before the new closing date.

Who is eligible to apply for the FUTMINNA 2026/2027 Post-UTME after the extension?

All candidates who scored at least the newly-approved cut-off mark, selected FUTMINNA as their first choice in JAMB, and have the required O’level subjects are eligible to apply during the extended period. Direct Entry applicants can also take advantage of the new deadline.
