~ Dean Jaensch Scholarship ~
Flinders University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their Dean Jaensch Scholarship. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students.
About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.
Flinders is a verdant university[citation needed] and a member of the Innovative Research Universities (IRU) Group and ranks in the 10-16 bracket in Australia and 36th in the world of those established less than 50 years.
Aim and Benefits of Dean Jaensch Scholarship
Subject to the availability of funds, one new scholarship will be available each year to the value of $1000.
Requirements for Dean Jaensch Scholarship
Applicants for the scholarship must:
1. Have studied their undergraduate degree at Flinders University and;
2. Be commencing an Honours Program within Politics and Public Policy; and
3. Normally remain enrolled full time.
Selection Process
Selection will be made by representatives of the College of Government, Business and Law.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit., If applicants have equal academic merit, the student with the highest GPA in a Politics Major will be awarded the scholarship.
