About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.

Subject to the availability of funds, one new scholarship will be available each year to the value of $1000.
Requirements for Dean Jaensch Scholarship
Applicants for the scholarship must:
1. Have studied their undergraduate degree at Flinders University and;
2. Be commencing an Honours Program within Politics and Public Policy; and
3. Normally remain enrolled full-time.
Selection Process
Selection will be made by representatives of the College of Government, Business, and Law.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. If applicants have equal academic merit, the student with the highest GPA in a Politics Major will be awarded the scholarship.
