BENPOLY notice on screening exercise for 2026/2027 applicants is out
This is to inform the general public that the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo POST UTME Screening/other programmes for Admission into HND, ND, DIPLOMA, CERTIFICATES have been scheduled as follows:
Date: Wednesday 2 & Thursday 3 March, 2027

Venue: Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo.
Time: 10.00am Prompt
All candidates are to come along with the following: .JAMB Original/Photocopy of Result Slip (Applicable to Jambites only)
• Originals/Photocopies of all relevant credentials
. One recent passport-size photograph • Writing materials
• Evidence of purchase of Benue State Polytechnic Application form for Admission (Not applicable to Jambites)
A non-refundable screening fee of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only for Jamb Candidates and three thousand naira (N3,000.00) only for non Jamb candidates.
Note: Those that did not choose Benpoly as their first choice but scored 120 marks and above in the 2026 UTME are to go to JAMB Portal and do change of Institution and Course.

2. Who is eligible to participate in the Benue State Polytechnic screening exercise?
Candidates who selected Benue State Polytechnic as their first or second choice in the UTME and obtained the required cut-off mark are eligible for the screening exercise. Applicants must also have at least five relevant O’Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) and must have completed the online application process.
3. What documents are required for the screening exercise?
Applicants are usually required to bring the following documents to the screening venue:
Printed application or Post-UTME registration slip
JAMB result slip
O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
Birth certificate or age declaration
Passport photographs
Evidence of payment for the screening exercise
All documents should be presented in both original and photocopies.
4. Is the Benue State Polytechnic screening exercise a written exam?
In many cases, the screening exercise is mainly a document verification and credential screening, although the institution may also conduct a short aptitude test depending on the department or admission guidelines for that year. Applicants should prepare accordingly and follow the instructions provided by the polytechnic.
