BMC provides General Medical and Surgical healthcare services (outpatient and inpatient) with consultations and specialized services for the whole family (Adults and Pediatric).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

1. Job Title: Medical Doctor
Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Monitor patients’ condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
  • Observe and interpret the patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
  • Adjust and administer the patient’s medication and provide for treatments according to the physician’s orders
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies
  • Assist surgeons during operations

Requirements

  • Possess an MBBS Degree with 1 – 2 years post-NYSC in-hospital work experience.
  • Candidates must possess BOTH a registration certificate with MDCN and a current practising medical license.
  • The Candidate should be ready to resume immediately.
  • Only candidates residing (or relocating to) near the hospital premises will be considered.

Salary

N70,000 – N80,000 Monthly.

2, Job Title: Nurse / Midwife (RN-RM)
Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Provide nursing care for routine and emergency cases
  • Observe and interpret the patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Adjust and administer the patient’s medication and provide for treatments according to the physician’s orders
  • Provide perinatal, medical, and surgical day-to-day nursing care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation on medical (outpatient and inpatient), maternity, and surgical patients.
  • Assist surgeons during operations and provide nursing wound care.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be double-qualified Nurses (i.e., RN-RM) and possess current practicing nursing licenses as both a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) registered with the Nursing Council of Nigeria.
  • Possess 1 – 2 years post-NYSC in-hospital work experience.
  • Only candidates residing (or relocating to) near the hospital premises will be considered.

Salary

N60,000 – N80,000 Monthly.
