The University of Dundee Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship is available for applications from eligible and outstanding candidates who wish to enrol in a degree program at the University for 2026/2027 academic session.

About Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship

DETAILS:

Scholarships, bursaries, sponsorships and any other funding, support provided by any party other than UoD are outside the scope of these Terms. Such external funding and support may be subject to conditions and acceptable criteria determined by the awarding external party.

Scholarships which provide living costs will be paid in monthly instalments and are to be paid into a UK Bank account. The UoD cannot issue payments into bank accounts outside the UK.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for University of Dundee Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

  • Applicants must have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for September 2026, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course. Please see our Terms and Conditions for exclusions.
  • Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
  • Be currently residing in an African Country as highlighted in the country list (below).
  • Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, British Indian Ocean Territory, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Congo (Democratic Republic), Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Sudan, Tanzania, The Gambia, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
