Vice-Chancellor International Scholarships Selection Process

These scholarships are competitive awards and are confirmed through a selection process. Applicants will be notified of the scholarship outcome as part of the selection process. Applicants who are eligible for an alternate scholarship will be issued an offer, including a scholarship at the time of application.
Successful recipients will be required to participate in the Flinders International Ambassador Program and actively support Flinders University in promoting Flinders globally.

Eligibility:

  • You must have an equivalent minimum ATAR of 95 or above for an undergraduate scholarship application.
  • You must have an equivalent of 6.5 GPA or above for a postgraduate scholarship application.
  • You must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
    • IELTS – 6.0
    • Completion certificate of English programs approved by ELICOS

Scholarship exclusions

  • Scholarships are not available to current Flinders students transferring between Flinders courses.
  • Scholarships are not available to students in receipt of financial support from the Australian government, a foreign government, or another Flinders University scholarship.
  • Scholarships are not available to students transferring to Flinders with credit from studies completed at another institution.
  • Scholarships are not available for Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma courses or Research Higher Degree courses.
